My name is Lisa McCann – I'm a Dublin-based fashion journalism graduate, writer and blogger. I discovered fashion at the age of fourteen – this vibrant world and my book worm tendencies led me down my chosen career path. My blog focuses on personal style, vintage fashion and popular culture. The history of fashion, in particular Irish fashion, has always fascinated me – I am drawn to how people lived, what they wore, the story behind an item of clothing or trend and the influence of film stars and fashion designers on society.
A degree in History of Art and Architecture and Spanish at Trinity College led to a Masters in Fashion Journalism at the London College of Fashion. Since graduating, I have interned at Vogue Magazine, Dazed & Confused, The Sunday Times Style and Stylist Magazine and written for So It Goes Magazine, On The Rocks Magazine and The Irish Times. I currently write the lifestyle pages for Irish Tatler (Interiors, Travel, Food & Health).
